In essence, March marks the beginning of new energies and a new astrological year, and you will soon feel things are just getting started. As you move into 2023 with greater wisdom, some may embrace the enormity of change right on your doorstep, but others may struggle. Let’s dive deeper.
Firstly, the Universe now ensures we have left the past well and truly behind as the stars have finished clearing away any debris from 2022.
The enormous forces of Saturn and Pluto are now on the move, signalling the dawn of a new era. On 7 March, responsible Saturn will enter dreamy Pisces, where he will be until 2026 but the biggest news in astrology since 2008 is Pluto’s move into Aquarius on 23 March. He will reside in this house for the next 21 years!
Pluto in Aquarius is charged with the total transformation of society. He is tearing down outdated ideologies, but it offers relief in many ways. Since January 2008, Pluto had previously been intent on wrecking financial and institutional havoc in Capricorn. You may want to look back and reflect. What had the power or control over you during that time? Your career or company? An authoritative parent? A long-term partner who told you what to do and how to act? Did your assets and commitments tie you up? What did you have to fight to overcome?
Slay on, darlings. Never can we stop when we have Kriti Sanon and her black co-ordinated set. As a devoted enthusiast of the monochrome way of fashion, we love that her weekend was blessed with black and sparkle. There is a lot to admire, but we will go do it because the Bollywood actress looked spectacular last night. Black outfits do not guise away glamour and with this message out in the open already, her two-piece combo did what it had to do perfectly.

She also shared a series of pictures of herself in the beautiful red outfit, and we have all the details!
Celebrities love fashion, and we love to see them experimenting with it. While many of them are all up for trying new looks and sometimes even going over the top, others prefer to strike a balance with a mix of both, and some like sticking to basics. But whatever their style may be, we are lucky enough to be served some eye-catching looks every week. This week was the same, yet different, as Uorfi Javed and Natasha Poonawalla made it to our weekly roundup with their sartorial choices!
Dubai shoppers looking to put their best foot forward have the chance to buy the world’s most expensive socks.
Made from the wool of a rare Peruvian camel and presented in a wooden gift box they are a snip at AED4,000 ($1,090) a pair.
A vicuña is a rare South American camelid, which lives high in the Andes mountains in Peru.
It is similar to an alpaca, but lives in the wild and it is only sheared twice a year making its wool extremely valuable.
In Peruvian culture the fine, dense wool is reserved for the highest nobility and it is regarded as the world’s most valuable wool.
A post about the socks on the Falke website says: “After the traditional shearing, the soft and incredibly fine wool hairs of the fleece are carefully freed from the coarser guard hairs and submitted to an elaborate hand-washing and drying process.
The Middle East is expected to become one of the fastest growing markets for luxury in 2023, according to Barclays analysts, with the owners of Louis Vuitton and Cartier best placed to benefit.
Analysts at the bank cited high oil prices that underpin buoyant economic conditions and demographic trends for their optimistic call on the region.
Dubai’s continued focus on attracting tourists and foreign expatriates, as well as its diversification away from oil are also factors that will boost luxury spending.

A Miss Universe contestant from El Salvador strutted onto stage this week wearing a bitcoin-inspired gold bodysuit, a glittering tribute to her country becoming the world’s first to adopt the crypto-currency as legal tender two years ago.
Alejandra Guajardo, the Salvadoran beauty queen set to compete at the global contest’s 71st annual event in New Orleans, shared photos and videos of herself in the costume on Instagram late Wednesday, complete with gold booted stilettos.
In her post’s caption, Guajardo praised her homeland as “a country with a true vision of positive change for the future” while pointing to the government’s much-criticized decision to adopt bitcoin as legal currency in 2021 alongside the US dollar.

Gustav Magnar Witzøe solidified his status as fashion’s latest it-boy when he made his runway debut this New York Fashion Week. The rising star already has a fashion resume that includes attending last season’s Tom Ford runway show, attending the 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards, and being super-stylist Law Roach’s latest muse.
This season, he took his profile to the next level at CFDA Chairman Thom Browne’s highly-anticipated show with celebrities like Lil Nas X and Erykah Badu in the front row. It was no wonder for his debut, Witzøe felt the nerves kick in.
“I was pretty nervous and excited at the same time. It was my first international fashion show and I got to walk for one of my favorite designers,” said Witzøe.
In preparation for the big day, the model woke up early to make it to the gym before his 8:30 AM call time. “The glamming part took about three hours. It was long, but I was excited to see how his vision came to life and I was happy to be a small part of it!”.
As for the most difficult part? “The most challenging part for me was to walk in those clock hells on the sand. I was trying really hard not to fall”!
Luckily, Witzøe made it through without even a stumble.
